Dear friends and partners in prayer, hello!
We are about to embark on our second to last chemo treatment this Thursday! Daisy has been awesome as usual.  She is growing even more fuzz and is quite generous about sharing it.  It tickles my chin when I read to her, just like when she was a baby. She also is developing a heart of thankfulness, because there’s always something to be stoked on.  There is so much joy in the trial, and we are in the home stretch.  Other than the sprouter and juicer on my counter, our lives are pretty normal! We do have need of prayer this week, as Daisy has developed a cough.  I’m seriously giving thanks to God, because here we are on our 6th month of chemotherapy and have not landed back in the hospital.  We do, however, need prayer that the cold would not prevent her from receiving her treatment.  Also, she has another ultrasound and chest x-ray that day.  She’s a sport (about everything except no breakfast!) but that day is a little more intense for Britt and me.  We need the peace of the Lord no matter what.  We pray for a clear result, but my dear little fuzzy bunny is in her Father’s hands.  Again, we say, no matter what those results say, nothing changes between Jesus and us.  We love you, and thank you for the best thing anyone can do for another, prayer.P.S.  We will be going to a fundraiser for Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation on Monday night  where some Santa Barbara police officers have grown mustaches to raise money.  There will be a contest for best, worst, etc.  And, Daisy has been invited to help them shave!  Hilarious, right?  See what I mean about joy in the trial??
